Halloween Punk rocker...need help with hair?

Ok,my neighboor and I are dressing up as a Punkrock group. Please, I know actual punks will hate me for this so don't make any comment on the fact that it's a way of life, which I totally respect by the way. Anyways, I have long dark hair (longer than shoulders, approximately 16 inches long), and I was wondering if there was any way I could make it fit in with the costume. It would be best if whatever it is can be washed out easily because I have a flute recital the next day...

Use a temporary hair color. The spray ones wash out completely the first time you wash your hair. And choose a bright pink, blue, green, etc. If you can't get it how you want it, you can always wear a wig... you can buy some cool looking punk ones for pretty cheap.

Hey don't be sorry, a lot of people dress up as "gangstas" and stuff like that too.

Anyways, you could tease your hair a lot so it's big and messy. That would look cool and you wouldn't have to do any spray in colors or anything like that, unless you want to!

Get some temporary color hairspray and spray in some streaks. But be sure to be careful and not get any on your costume or area around you! Have fun!

Okay there is this girl at school that is punk/goth and her hair is actaully cute once you get past how it sounds. Okay follow me, it looks like she stuck her finger in a light socket. She just gels it up(about the amount of hair if you were going to pull your bangs back.. make sense?) and then hair sprays it to death. Then go to Claires and they have this high school musical highliter for hair that washes right out and it looks really cool. i got some for my bday and got the pink one and it looked so cool! It washes right out! Then so that your hair will look cute the next morning use herbal essance for highlited hair. I use a lot of hairspray and it helps it so much. (wheathrt or not you hair is highlited) It gets it so smooth and shiny. Plus you would never know you have so much spray in it the night before! It does look pretty cool and i hope you have a grreat halloween! Hope this helps!!!!
