I am punk but this is the first time I had realy short hair and I was wondering how to create a realy short punk hairstyle. I need some serious help right now because I have to go back to school in about 2 and a half months and I will be in the seventh grade. If I dye my hair pink tomorrow, trust me, NO WOULD mistake me for punk,even based on my look, because that is not my personality and my look would not fit my actions.

If you were punk, then this would be 'being yourself.' You aren't punk, but want people to view you as different, so you need ideas on how to do this? I don't get it.

Also, you have short hair and have to go back to school in 2 1/2 months. Well then just grow it out for the summer and it will be long again by the time you get back to school.

You could always do pops of pink here and there or go all one color. Or if you don't want to color hair you could always use gel to spike hair up or to one side.

I'm not sure what punck is since it died in the 1980's. Who cares how long your hair is - you I assume. Try to create another look and let go of something that happened 27 years ago. You're acting like you have to be like other people, and hopefully they aren't in the same time warp you have described. Be yourself and if needed, be something different; be yourself and not someone else that you have seen. Start your own style and see if others follow you. Be a leader and not a follower.

Hey I was in the 8th grade last year. When I went into the seventh grade I was so scared. I also had a problem. But the thing about being a punk is not caring what you look like. PUNK is actually not a look. its an attitude. Have you ever watched the movie SLC Punk?

It wil explain it all. And it also has many short hairstyles. It is a movie that explains the life style of a Punk. I don't care if you don't listen to me. But caring what other people think. And TRYING to be something. is not punk. It's just being a poser.

Punk is a state of mind. That's really all you need to know.

I kwon just the thing, but youl need help. Bleach and dye it making a leopard print or dots. I have seen it up here and it looks cool. If I find a pic, i'll send it 2 u. You could beach it all blonde and get a sponagie stencil or cut a sponage. dip it in a color (s) and stamp away. Or a less permanent way and something you could change it every couple of days, you know keep them guessing. Is start with blonde hair and cut out an image, then hold it close to your head, and spray tempoary color(s) (like the ones used 4 halloween). Or on dark hair you could use lite colors. P.S. if your Mother asked, where u got this tell her, you saw it on t.v, LOL!!!
