Chunky chunky layers, bright purple streaks, assuming your hair is dark like your avator.

Cut it shorter (like shoulder length or above) with lots of layers so your hair will have lots of texture! Lots of "punk girls" like the longer in the front, shorter in the back look. You can spike it when you want the fun look, and you can still style it in a cute, more *acceptable* way if you need to dress up.

And do highlights. You don't have to go blue, green, or pink ... but you can use very light blondes, burgandies, reds, or even warm browns to bring out the texture.

Straight hair that is about shoulder length with choppy bangs is punk without looking like a posuer. Dye it either dark or poorly bleeched (meaning, your roots show). I recommend a dark auburn color to not look like a posuer.
