I am pretty preppy now and want to show all of my preppy friends i can make a change. also What kind of hairdstyles should i wear without cutting my hair. -Listen to bands absolutely no body knows about, like..oh..HAWTHORNE HEIGHTS or My Chemical Romance. They're REALLY punk rock! So metal, it'll rock your mother!

-Dye your hair black, get it choppy or just never shower.

-Wear lots of red plaid, skulls, chains, and don't forget the safety pins!

-BLACK EYE MAKEUP. like "maybelline blackest black" mascara, can't get any more punk than that!

- rip up all your jeans, be agressive with that denim!

- wear things that say "punk" right on them, it'll really get your message across.

- shop at hot topic.

It really is more of an attitude, if you just change your clothes then you will be a poser. Its kind of a lifestyle, and people can tell if you try to be something you're not. I know this isn't at all what you want to hear, but its what you need to do. If you're pretty, just accept it. You'll have more friends, and feel more comfortable. Accept who you are, and while its not bad to shift around a style, don't completly change your attitude just to show you can make a change. And there really is no such thing as a punk princess - its either poser or punk.

And I love the 14 year olds who think they're so punk, with their haircuts, and think their music is so punk. The real good punk was back in the 80's, not nowdays (though the feelers are pretty good, as well as the black lips and a couple other underground bands). I always get a kick outta that. Mainstream punk nowdays is more emo than anything else. My Chemical Romance is about as punk as Brittany Spears is prude.

Yeah, go to the mall and buy some pre-ripped jeans that cost 100 dollars, instead of a cheap pair and ripping them yourself by having them for so long there about to fall apart every time you put them on. Then listen to Green Day, My Chemical Romance, and Taking Back Sunday. Your preppy friend will think your punk as hell. But anyone with a sense of individuality will realize its just an act. This is great, I say go for the "punk" look, it makes people like me even more of a dieing breed.
