Pink Hair?

I'm 21 and I want to dye my hair pink. Crazy right? I know.

I'm a photographer, and I have natural brown hair and right now it is auburn. I have a square face. I am NOT any type of stereotype, rocker chick, punk, hippy, etc. I am just me. I don't seek attention or anything. I just want pink hair.

What do you think? NO or maybe? What are some good ways to dye it? Or what are a good TEMPORARY dye I can get that would show up on darkish hair?

I wouldn't suggest dying the whole thing pink, but I think that if you put some streaks of it in your hair that would be really cute. I personally thought about doing that to my own hair.

I have bright pink hair i got the dye from hottopic. I yuse there whireout kit first then dyed the pink i left it on for like an hour. But if you want streak then use the loral freior color its made just for streaks and u dont have to dye your hair blonde first i used it and loved it Report It

Dye it. What the heck it's cliche'(sp?)... but true- you only live once. So you dye it and you don't like it oh well at least you were daring enough to try it. Who knows maybe dying your hair pink will allow you to meet people in that "rocker","punk" eetc group you mention?!

A good way to dye your hair pink on your own...check out products from Hot Topic- they're cheap and easy to do yourself for a bright pink. Otherwise for a little better quality selection I'd go to your local beauty supply store like Sally's and get a creme developer and a manic pink....and go for it. Temporary pinks will only be the pink you want for a couple of days and every time you wash your hair will gradually turn to some icky brownish pink color.

Well..Pink is one way to attract attention, and you said you don't seek attention, but it most certainly will, but the possibly problem with that is, Is the attention you will attract the kind of attention you want.

You say you just want Pink Hair, well...If that is what you want, ok, go for it, I don't care for it myself, but, thats just me, but be prepared, wether you want the attention or not, you will get it, just be prepared for it. Or for get about it, if the attention is not really what you want.

You would for sure have to bleach your hair first, because the dye wouldn't take to your darker hair, it would just give it a puke-ish pinky tinge. I dyed my hair pink for 3 years and my hair was really blonde when i did it. It's a good thing to do because it always fades and it isn't harmful to your hair. most of those crazy colored dyes are all conditioner based so they don't dry out your hair. I'd say try it!
