Anywho,

none of those styles were "punk" nor were they "emo".

Those styles are "scene" which is indeed a stupid myspace trend. Punk is dead. People like you have killed it. This question was pretty much like stabbing a dead guy. Stop trying to use sterotypes you don't understand and stop watching MTV. In the end, it won't matter what your hair looks like so who cares?
