Want to dye hair?

i want to dye my hair but it is already thick and poofy and i read on my sisters shampoo bottle (treseme) that dying your hair can make it thicker. I want to dye mine something punk like red streaks not the kinda stuff that stays in for months does it still make my hair thicker?

Want to dye hair?

It shouldn't make your hair thicker at all, if anything it will just add texture and make it easier to style...given that you do not overprocess it.

Check for semi-permanent colors if you are wanting to do something bright. It won't cause the damage that permanent hair color will and the effects will last only for a few weeks.

Good luck! :)

hey girl,

just to let you know buddy...

The right hair color can easily transform your dull hairs to bright and fiery colors. In a matter of hours you can have an altogether different look. But there is no joy without pain. Most of the hair colors leaves bad effects on your hairs and skin.

The horrors of hair color do not stop there. Sometimes, hair coloring, even by experts, goes wrong and all you are left with is a bunch of devastated discolored hairs. Although the chances of mistakes by professional hair color experts are very small, it can happen.

Hair color of different shades fascinates almost everyone. Have you ever thought of the side effects of these colors on your hairs? Do you take any type of steps to avoid such a problem of hair damage and loss? Before applying any type of hair color and product on your hairs, you must take into consideration all the details of your hair product.

No matter what brand your hair color is, sometimes you face some really troublesome problems like unwanted shades or irritated skin.

i honestly don't believe that. coloring your hair mostly thins your hair out

Use a color with added conditioners.

I stay away from Clairol, that made my hair brittle, then I went to Loreal, and now use Garnier, there is an added conditioner, and conditioning oil to put in the color, and it makes my puffy thick hair soft.

There is semi, and demi haircolor that you can use if you dont want the permanent red to stay for months
